In today’s video, we’re going to check out one of the new features added in Blender – the ability to import open VDB volumes inside your models!

As many of you saw, the newest release of Blender, version 2.83, added the ability to import OpenVDB volumes inside your models. This is really important because there are a lot of programs like Houdini or EmberGen that are really good at creating smoke and explosions – now we can use those programs, then import the result into Blender.
