In today’s video, we’re going to check out a FREE brand new add-on that allows you to quickly drop objects to surfaces inside of Blender!

One of the simple things that I find very time consuming is aligning objects with surfaces beneath them. While it seems simple, all that custom aligning of objects can take up a fair amount of time.

Luckily, there’s now a new add-on for Blender that helps you quickly drop objects onto faces.

What I really like about this add-on is how simple it is – simply select your object, right click, and click the button for Drop It. This will drop your objects so that they intersect with the surface beneath them.
This will work with multiple objects as well – simply select them all, right click and activate the add-on.
